Carl Milles began building Millesgården 1908 as a home with studios for himself and his wife, artist Olga Milles. Millesgården consists of several parts. The artist's home with art studios and galleries, where one of Sweden's finest antique collections are included, the resort's heart and the place where Carl and Olga Milles lived during 1910 and 1920 decades. In the large sculpture park with views of Värtan you will find Carl Milles sculptures, many fountains and a flower garden. In the Art Gallery, contemporary art and there is also a well-stocked museum shop, whose range includes the famous Mille pot and a selection smaller bronze copies of Carl Milles sculptures. Bistro Rosenterrassen, housed in the old gardener residence, is fully licensed and serves lunches, coffee and homemade specialties. In addition, Annes House with interiors by Estrid Ericsson and Joseph Frank.
